Best Restaurants in Skiathos – Where to Eat in 2026
Wondering where to eat good food in Skiathos ? I’ve prepared a short list with places we’ve had lunch/dinner at and we loved.
The food in Skiathos is delicious, the products they use are very high quality and this reflect in the final taste of the dish. Check my list with restaurants in Skiathos and let me know if you have tried few of them or have any other recommendations for me.
Johnny’s Skiathos
You MUST do a reservation at Johnny’s Skiathos, otherwise you will not find a table available. Keep in mind to call few day prior the date you want to eat at Johnny’s ,just not to get disappointed.
We really loved the taverna, it has no view , but it’s very cozy, nicely decorated, but always full. The food was delicious, as well. We tried the greek salad, tzatziki some pork steak and everything was tasty. I don’t think that there is anything on the menu that’s not worth trying.
Keep in mind to make a reservation and also that Johnny’s Skiathos is closed on Sundays.
Bourtzi Skiathos
All i can say is WHAT A VIEW! Indeed, at Bourtzi the view is stunning.
Initially, we thought it might be a tourist trap because of the view, but NO, it’s a GEM itself! The place is big enough, with a lot of tables and you have amazing view from each one of them.
We went there without reservation and the waiter also gave us a table in the shadow with amazing view as well.
There was a lady that recommended few of the dishes and we decided to try. She did not disappoint us , the food was delicious.
I highly recommend Bourtzi Skiathos for both the food and the stunning views the place provides.
Paraxenos Skiathos
As many places in Skiathos, you also need reservation at Paraxenos.
The restaurants it’s very cozy with warm vibes. It’s located inside a backyard, which is very nice as it provides shadow.
The staff is very nice, as well as the service. The food was delicious. We tried tzatziki, greek salad, shrimps and pork steak, everything was very good and tasy.
If you want to have dinner in a chill and cozy atmosphere , you should pay a visit to Paraxenos Skiathos., but don’t forget to book a table in advance.
Kohyli Taverna Skiathos
We’ve stopped at Kahyli Taverna few times for lunch and we really liked it. It’s a nice terrace with nice views and good shadow.
You don’t need a reservation at Kahyli Taverne and it’s easily reacheable as it’s on the main road and has it’s own parking place, which is very convenient.
We tried greek salad, fried zuchinni, tzatziki, pork steak, chicken breast and shrimps. Everything was good and the portions are quite big. I find this place perfect for lunch, we used to stop after the beach on our way back to the hotel.
Asprolithos Skiathos
Asprolithos it’s a typical greek tavern with very friendly staff and good food. We found it on our first night on the island, without searching we just stopped there and we really liked the food. During our stay we also visited this tavern many times.
Again, greek salad, tzatziki, pork steak, lamb chops, mix grill everythign was very good. And they have very good Ouzo. You don’t need a reservation if you want to have dinner at Asprolithos Skiathos.
Pork’N Roll Skiathos
Pork’N Roll it’s located across the street from Kohyli Tavern. Again a very good place for lunch after beach. It provides parking as well and very good service.
The food was tasty, we liked it. We tried the grill options , like pork, lamb or chicken. Also the dessert was good here.
