What to visit during your stay in Valencia
As we visited Valencia for the first time, we wanted to see the city’s most popular places. For us, the most interesting to visit was:Â
 1. The City of Arts and Sciences – La Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias –Â
I’m pretty sure you’ve heard of it, or even if the name is not familiar, you will know what I’m talking about when you will see the pictures below.
It’s a futuristic complex of buildings and is one of Valencia’s most iconic landmarks. I think is a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to Valencia.Â
My personal advice is to wear a pair of shoes which are very comfortable for you, because you will walk a lot around this attraction area.Â
 2. The Umbracle
It is a landscaped garden that has stunning views of the surrounding buildings and the city skyline.Â
It’s located in the proximity of The City of Arts and Sciences. So while you are visiting The City of Arts and Sciences it’s worth taking a short walk to the Umbracle also.Â
 3. Mercado Central – The Central Market –
Personally, whenever I visit Spain, I’m searching for the Central Market of that city and visiting it. These markets are a food lover’s paradise, and the one in Valencia is no exception.
In this market you will find an array of fresh products like fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood and local specialties like turron, for example.
 4. Zoo Valencia
Also known as Bioparc Valencia, it’s known for its unique design, because this zoo tries to mimic the natural environment of the animals as close as possible. Here you will find animals from different continents, including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, gorillas, lemurs and many more. The tickets are around 27€/person and can be purchased online from their official website.
In my opinion, this Zoo is really worth the visit and even more if you are with visiting Valencia with kids, they will love it!Â

Where to eat the best Argentinian Steak in Valencia
Besides the fact that inside Mercado Central and around it you will find plenty of options to eat delicious food, we found an Argentinean Steakhouse in Valencia that literally stole our hearts .
The steakhouse I’m talking about it’s called Gordon10. We found it via Trip advisor as being the #3 of 3,287 Restaurants in Valencia.
Everyone here is very nice, and what was a pleasant surprise for us is that when we arrived, the waiter came at our table to present us their beef varieties and to recommend us what to order. Of course, we followed his guidance and we were not wrong to do so. Everything was delicious, and it was the best steak that I’ve ever had. We liked so much this place that we ate at Gordon10 restaurant 3 nights in a row.
