Best Beaches in Paxos, Greece – Hidden Gems with Turquoise Water (2026 Guide)

Best Beaches in Paxos Island (2026 Guide)

To start, i would like to say that Paxos stole our hearts from the beginning. It’s such a beautiful island, small, with amazing beaches and very nice people.

If you have second thoughts about Paxos, don’t think anymore and go! I’m sure you will love it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE 1: Paxos island is NOT a party island, so don’t go there if you are looking for parties.

IMPORTANT NOTICE 2: Paxos beaches are mostly with pebbles, keep that in mind when planning your Paxos trip. Beach shoes are a MUST for Paxos island beaches.

If you plan to visit Paxos island via Corfu, this day cruise is a convenient way to explore the turquoise water and famous Blue Caves.

Erimitis Bay Beach – Iconic Cliffs & Sunset Views

Erimitis is one of the most dramatic beaches in Paxos, famous for its white cliffs, turquoise water, and breathtaking sunsets. Access requires a 10-15 minutes walk and includes also stairs, it’s a medium difficulty I’d say, but the views are ABSOLUTELY worth it.

Erimitis beach is a secluded, wild beach, there are no beach chairs, bars or anything. You need to bring with you everything you need.

Erimitis Beach - simply AMAZING

Ballos Beach – Calm Waters & Easy Swimming

Ballos Beach offers calm, shallow waters ideal for swimming , paddle boarding and relaxing. It’s a peaceful bay, perfect for families and travelers looking for an easy, scenic beach day. The access to the beach is easy and fast from the parking lot.

Again, Ballos Beach from Paxos is a wild and small beach, so there are no amenities on the beach.

Levrechios Beach – Roadside Beach with Clear Water

Levrechios is not secluded — it’s located right by the road, making it one of the easiest beaches to access in Paxos. Clear water, pebbles, and nearby restaurant make it very convenient.

Levrechios beach has beach chairs and umbrellas and they are FREE. The only thing is that you arrive early enough to get yours.

Levrechios Beach Paxos - a beauty right next to the road

Orkos Beach – Wide Pebble Beach with Turquoise Sea

IMPORTANT : you need to follow the road that Apple Maps it’s showing, that is the right one.

Orkos is a relatively long, open beach with crystal-clear water and enough space, even in high season. Great for swimming and spending the whole day by the sea. Also there are olive trees where you can stay in the shadow.

To get there you will have to walk down ( and up on your way back) through a path shaded by olive trees , it’s a very beautiful path and it took us aproximately 10-15 minutes, depends on everyone’s pace.

The Orkos beach from Paxos is secluded and wild, no amenities on this beach.

Kipos Beach – Pebble Shore with Deep Blue Water

Kipos is known for its deep blue water and pebbled shore. It’s a popular choice if you  enjoy swimming and snorkeling in very clear waters.

It’s easy reachable, after you park the car, there is a easy path that tooks around 5-7 minutes to get to the beach. Kipos beach doesn’t have any amenities. Only downside i saw here was that there is are no olive trees, anything else just perfect.

Kipos Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Paxos, known for its turquoise water.

Marmari Beach – One of the Most Beautiful Bays in Paxos

Marmari is often considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Paxos, with striking turquoise water and a sheltered bay. A great mix of wild scenery and comfort.

This is a wild beach, so no beach chairs or umbrellas. The path is easily walkable , scenic and took us around 10 minutes to get to the beach. Here you will find natural shade created by the olive trees, it’s very a very beautiful beach.

Marmari Beach in Paxos features crystal-clear water and a quiet atmosphere, ideal for swimming.

Harami Beach – Relaxed Atmosphere Near Lakka

Located near Lakka village, Harami Beach has a relaxed vibe and shallow water close to shore. Ideal for an easy beach stop combined with lunch or sunset drinks nearby.

This is like the Lakka village beach, here you can rent umbrellas and also the view to the village is beautiful.
