Located near Vourvourou, it takes about 5 minutes to drive and another 3–4 minutes to walk from the parking area. The beach is peaceful, surrounded by green hills, and offers stunning views over Mount Athos on clear days. It has no organized facilities, so bring your own umbrella and water. Perfect for couples and travelers who love raw beauty.

2. Paradise Kavourotrypes Beach
Why we loved it
There’s only one word to describe this beach: Paradise! With its natural shade, rocky surroundings, and emerald water, Paradise Kavourotrypes is one of the most iconic beaches in Sithonia.There’s a small beach bar serving drinks, coffee, and light snacks — we paid around €5 for a Freddo Cappuccino and €8 for a Greek salad.Tip: Arrive early in the morning to find a shaded spot. The view of Mount Athos makes it worth every minute.
3. Tigania Beach
Why we loved it
If you’re into a wild tropical vibe, this one’s for you! Tigania Beach is about a 50-minute drive from Vourvourou, but absolutely worth it.The beach is famous for its beach bar and relaxed atmosphere — you can use the free sunbeds as long as you order from the bar. Prices are very reasonable: Freddo €5, beer €7, souvlaki €15.Local Tip: The access road is a bit steep near the end — drive slowly. Don’t miss this gem when visiting Halkidiki!
4. Diaporos Island (Myrsini & Blue Lagoon)
Why we loved it
A true hidden gem accessible only by boat from Vourvourou. We rented ours from Yolo Boat Rental — for €110/day plus €36 fuel — and had an incredible day exploring the Blue Lagoon and Myrsini Beach.You don’t need a skipper license, and the rental team provides maps showing the best beaches around the island. These two beaches are secluded, calm, and absolutely magical for snorkeling.
5. Mega Portokali Beach
Why we loved it
Another beach that absolutely deserves its place among the best beaches in Sithonia.
To get there, take the road where you see the sign “Aqua Marina Beach Bar” — it’s easier than the route on Google Maps. The beach is small but stunning, surrounded by pine trees offering natural shade.
We loved the Aqua Marina Bar, where we enjoyed drinks with an amazing view. They also offer a free umbrella if you order from them — perfect if you don’t bring your own.

Why we loved it
A more popular and organized beach, ideal if you prefer comfort. We visited Kalogria Beach mainly for the beautiful sunset views and the small rock perfect for snorkeling.
We paid €10 for 2 sunbeds and one umbrella, and the prices at the bar were decent: toast €4, Greek salad €7, Freddo €5, beer €5. The water is crystal-clear and the vibe is perfect for a relaxed day with good food and drinks nearby.
